Paper Submission Details

MS Word Paper Template/Guidelines

MS Word Abstract Template

The PBD-III Vancouver abstract submission phase is now complete and corresponding authors will be advised of their submission’s acceptance by e-mail. Over 400 abstracts were received and a majority have been approved to move on to the technical paper submission phase. The submission titles and corresponding authors of the accepted abstracts will be posted at http://www.pbdiiivancouver.com/accepted-abstracts.php.

Complete technical papers must be submitted by the extended deadline of January 15, 2017 using the online submission feature of this website available at http://www.pbdiiivancouver.com/abstract-submission.php. Corresponding authors will be required to register as a delegate for the conference before they can submit their paper(s) - the online delegate registration and payment system will be functional in early October, 2016.

The Author's Release, Declaration and Understanding has been incorporated into the online submission process - all corresponding authors must select "Yes" in the Copyright Permission field or the paper will not be uploaded to the site.

The PBD-III Vancouver Technical Committee will review all papers for clarity, technical merit and relevance to the conference. Our goal is to inform corresponding authors of their paper’s acceptance decision by March 3, 2017 and possibly before. In cases where the reviewing team feels revisions are necessary, comments will be provided with revised papers being due by March 31, 2017.

All accepted papers, for which at least one author has registered for the conference, will appear in the published proceedings of the conference - each registrant will receive a digital version as part of their delegate registration.

To help authors ensure their paper meets the conference's presentation requirements, we have prepared an MS Word Paper Template/Guidelines file. All authors must follow these guidelines to help ensure presentation uniformity in conference proceedings - submissions that do not follow the prescribed formatting guidelines will be returned.

Final decisions regarding the acceptance decision and the assigned session for submitted papers will rest with the Technical Committee. Questions regarding the paper review process, sessions and the technical program should be directed to the PBD-III Vancouver Technical Committee at techcommittee@pbdiiivancouver.com.
